Information for partners

It is time for the first ever Namibia Technology Innovation Bazaar – come join us in supporting tech innovation! The Bazaar is a new national event, which brings forth original local ideas on how digital technologies can be used in products and services.

We kindly invite all corporate, GRN, academia and civil society partners to the Technology Innovation Bazaar, which will take place in Windhoek from 22nd to 23rd of May 2019. Come see how to use digital technologies to improve your products and services; find Namibian technology innovations to invest in; identify talent to hire and corporate social responsibility projects to support.

In particular, we would like to encourage you to attend the Pitch Auction, which takes place on Thursday 23 May from 11h to 12h30. This session introduces some of the most promising Bazaar inventions and lets participants to pledge financial or in-kind support to their favourites.

Visitors to the Bazaar can also attend interactive workshops, informative research briefings and fun demonstrations – including drone flying and a virtual reality game called The Tales of the Tokoloshe.

If you are a civil society organisation or academic institution working on technology innovation and want to exhibit your work in the Bazaar, we provide small exhibition stalls free of charge.

Kindly confirm your attendance by the close of business on Thursday 16th May by filling in our online registration form or by contacting Mr. Riundja Ekandjo (ekanjo@ictechhub.com, tel. 081 227 9965). When registering, please let us know whether you will attend the networking reception (22 May at 18h) or lunch on either day.

You are also most welcome to visit the Bazaar without prior registration. Most sessions are open for public and entrance is free. For complete programme, please visit the programme page.
