COVID-19 COMMUNICATION CHALLENGE

We are calling upon Namibian creatives to come aboard and help stop the spread of COVID-19 through art. By leveraging on your knowledge of beliefs, norms and values in your respective communities and for target audiences of your choice, we want you to create a suitable message about COVID-19 or complement government efforts to spread awareness on how to prevent the virus from spreading within communities.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

REGISTRATION CLOSED

Contributions can be any art form ranging from song, poem, role-playing, drawings and paintings. Just as long as your contribution shares a message that educates, persuades or informs your target audience to change their behavior for the better in the fight against COVID-19. The themes can be targeted towards children, young adults, the elderly, specific genders or any social group that you believe needs a bespoke awareness approach to stopping the spread of COVID-19

Produce your suitable message centring on Covid-19 or the Namibian government’s response to it. Your contribution can be designed to simplify gazetted regulations aimed at stopping the spread of the virus or supporting the ones who have been infected.
Use your existing knowledge or investigate about the target audience as well as about Covid-19, to create a message which will influence a change in the attitude and behaviours of people.
Once you have formulated your idea, register your details on this form and await our response for the next steps.
