We will be building a big map of the Namibian technology innovation ecosystem. Come place yourself, your company or your organisation on the map and tell us how you would like to collaborate with others in the ecosystem.

Virtual reality (VR) game Tales of the Tokoloshe [all day]

Come immerse yourself in the virtual reality version of the tale of Tokoloshe. You will be sent for a mission – will you make it?

Pitch Auction
[11h00-12h30]

An auction with a twist. This session introduces the most promising Bazaar inventions and lets companies and individuals pledge financial or in-kind support to their favourites. If you do not have money to spend, you can lend your support by rating the inventions in a mobile app, which has been created specifically for the Bazaar. No smartphone? No worries, there will also be a physical rating station.

Augmented reality design workshop [13h-15h30]

This workshop, called Room for Inclusive Innovation, is interactive and fun. Participants will co-design an augmented reality installation to encourage inclusivity thinking and action. No previous experience in augmented reality or co-design required. Space for 15 participants, lunch will be served.

Digital marketing & visuality workshop [15h30-17h]

New to entrepreneurship? Need to give a good impression of your product, company or organisation online and offline? Led by Betty Sibeso of Monochrome Magazine and BM Design Studios.

Panel discussion

Under the title How to bridge the gap between research, innovation and entrepreneurship, the panel brings forth a cross-section of opinions and ideas on the practical measures needed for strengthening the Namibian technology innovation ecosystem.

In this space participants present conceptual solutions to technology challenges pitched by companies before and during the Bazaar.

Our inventor programme is for inventors who participated in the public call to exhibit in the Bazaar. Inventors receive various types of training and mentoring. During the Bazaar they will be exhibiting their inventions to the public.
