All of these cars are fitted with light bulbs, which includes indicator lights, brake lights, reverse lights etc., and also audio systems, they use 12 volts’ reachable batteries that charges either on AC or DC current we also fit them with a small device that charges mobile phones.

Invention: The HomeLess AppThe HomeLess App idea was co-designed with kids in Walvis Bay, was aimed to sensitize the community towards the homeless living within the Walvis Bay area. They had identified that there was a large number of homeless people that face a lot of problems with regards to living area and access basic needs. We therefore designed the HomeLess App which will work as referral program where the community centre known as the HomeLess Centre, will serve as a way for documenting the homeless people in the area through ID cards that verify their identity (Picture, Name, Age and a Unique QR code). The community will have a role to play in providing vocational jobs for the homeless for example cleaning the yard, picking up litter in the area and then rewarding them with points by scanning the QR code on their ID card which they can use the purchase food, clothing or rent a place to stay.
